Fuengirola
History Museum of the City - Fuengirola - Museum of City History is located at Calle Maria Josefa Larrucea,
Spain Park, a few meters from the center of town. Inside you can take a tour of the history of the town, visiting
the different eras. Opened in 2003. A series of architectural components, probably transported from the Mijas
quarry during the Roman era, were discovered in Los Boliches in 1984. The Moors built the first castle in

quarries. These were used to build a monument in the form of a temple in the Plaza de Castilla in Los Boliches.
Fuengirola Zoo is well known. Hotel PYR Fuengirola once an old-fashioned collection of cramped cages, the zoo was
modernized in 2001 to feature "tropical-forest" dwellings. The zoo specializes in captive breeding for endangered
species, chimpanzee-group research and tropical-forest education. They were the founders of Suel, a name that would
